The Indian Association of Palliative Care was formed in 1994 in consultation with World Health Organisation and Govt. of India to form a forum for activities aimed at the care of people with life limiting illness such as Cancer, AIDS and end-stage chronic medical disease. The mission of IAPC is to promote affordable and quality palliative care across the country through networking and support to palliative care institutions.
