The Basic Certificate Course in Essentials of Palliative Care launched by Indian Association of Palliative Care is entering into its fourth year in 2010. Nearly 1800 Medical professionals have already registered for the course and out of which 1164 successfully completed.
The course has launched in November 2007 and after the pilot running, IAPC started to conduct the course two times per year from the year 2008. Just like last two years, this year also there will be two intakes through 25 regional centres in India. As usual the first batch will start from 1st June 2010 and another will begin from 1st November 2010.

Course fee : Rs. 1000/-
Doctors with MBBS/BDS (Including those doing their internship) and Nurses with Bsc Nursing / GNM can apply for this six weeks distance education course with three day contact session. A final evaluation will be conducted at the end of six weeks.
