CERTIFICATE COURSE IN ESSENTIALS OF PALLIATIVE CARE
Indian Association of Palliative Care is running Certificate Course in Essentials of Palliative Care for doctors and nurses in India. The course aims at improving the skills of health care professionals in India essentially in communicating with patients and controlling difficult symptoms. This programme will be useful for all practicing doctors and nurses irrespective of whether they are interested in pursuing a career in palliative care or not.

Who all can apply

Doctors who have successfully completed MBBS/BDS (Including those doing their Internship) and Nurses with Diploma in Nursing / BSc Nursing.

Course Fee

Rs. 1, 500 for Doctors
Rs. 1,000 for Nurses
This will cover the training fee, course material and examination fee. Registered candidates who are not able to write or failed in the examination will get one more chance without paying additional fee.

How to Apply

The completed application form with the Demand Draft and proof of professional qualification is to be submitted to the centre.

Certificate Course in Essentials of Palliative Care is an Indian adaptation of a similar course offered in UK and Nepal by the Princess Alice Hospice, UK . Dr. Max Watson who developed the original course has been involved in the 'Indianisation of the course'
