Dr Kikato Chishi and Dr Mayur Ghoghari were the first batch of M.D. palliative medicine students from GCRI. They cleared their final examination in April 2022 with flying colours. Dr Ghoghari has recently joined the Department of Pain and Palliative Medicine, GCRI, as Senior Resident.

Both Dr Chishi and Dr Ghoghari, from the pioneer batch of Palliative Medicine in Gujarat, are doing an excellent job by passing on their skills and knowledge to their junior batches.

Dr Lekha Raval

Dr Varun Yadav

Dr Lekha Raval and Dr Varun Yadav represent the 2^nd batch of M.D Palliative Medicine at GCRI and are scheduled to appear for their M.D. in palliative medicine examination in 2023.

Dr Raval and Dr Yadav, look forward to working as palliative care specialists, with the primary aim of delivering quality palliative care to those patients’ suffering from chronic diseases including Nonmalignant-chronic diseases.

Dr Nitin Pandey

Dr Savan Kukadia

The most recent batch of M.D. in Palliative Medicine consists of Dr Nitin Pandey and Dr Savan Kukadia.

Dr Kukadia and Dr Pandey joined the Department of Pain and Palliative Medicine, GCRI, in March, 2022 and May, 2022. Though new to the field and the department, Dr Pandey and Dr Kukadia keen to learn every aspect of the palliative care and deliver the best care that they are capable of providing for their patients’.
