Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to palliative patients at home, outpatient, and in coordination with hospitals.
- Conduct pain and symptom management using palliative protocols, including opioid use under NDPS guidelines.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. – Educate and counsel patients and caregivers on disease progression, prognosis, and end-of-life care.
- Supervise home-based palliative care visits, supporting nurses and field staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Train healthcare workers and advocate for palliative care at community level.
