Empowering multidisciplinary teams to be engaged in palliative care through relevant training programs is widely recognized as a crucial step towards ensuring the delivery of high-quality palliative care services. Over the past few years, the IAPC has successfully curated and delivered several training programs for various members of this Multidisciplinary team in Palliative Care. Applications are now invited for two such training programs offered by the IAPC. Don’t forget to enrol your team members to participate in these programs and to also pass on this message to those who might benefit from it. The deadline to submit applications for the ‘IAPC’s Certificate Course in Palliative Care for Volunteers’ is Monday, 6th May, 2024; while the deadline to apply for the ‘IAPC’s Certificate Course in the Physiotherapy-Palliative Care interface’ is Friday, 7th June, 2024. Please visit to the ‘Education and Training’ section of this newsletter to read the reports of the various training programs in palliative care organized by different organizations from across India.
I am also delighted to share that the recordings of lectures from the Academy of Palliative Medicine’s Online Lecture Series 1 held after Monday, 1st January, 2024, has been updated in the Member’s Corner section in the IAPC’s website. Further details regarding this is available in the ‘Announcement / Messages from IAPC’ section of the newsletter.
I am excited to invite you to head over to the ‘Awards and Recognition’ section of the newsletter and to join hands with me to acknowledge and recognise the successful journey of organizations and individuals working in Palliative Care in India. Congratulations to all!
