Celebrating our Superhero Palliative Care Nurses
“Nursing is an art: and if it is to be made an art, it requires exclusive devotion, and as hard a preparation, as any painter’s or sculptor’s work.”
Florence Nightingale
The IAPC is delighted to celebrate our devoted Palliative Care Nurses on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
On this occasion, the IAPC presents to you a compilation of a few of our Superhero Palliative Care Nurses from across the country, whose details we received from various organizations in response to IAPC’s invitation to celebrate their Superhero palliative care nurses.
This initiative was designed primarily to showcase to the world, the silent and the behind-the-scenes pillars, our palliative care nurses, who work so firmly yet gently, to ensure the provision of quality palliative care for their patients’ and their families.
While compiling this project, we were overwhelmed, humbled and yet filled with pride, to read the several demonstrations of empathy, selflessness, compassion, dedication, humaneness, and initiativeness taken by our Superhero Palliative Care Nurses.
We hope that this project further motivates our Superheroes to continue their exemplary work and also inspires others to follow suit.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the contributors for their enthusiasm, efforts, and cooperation towards the successful completion of this project. Thank you dear contributors!
Last but not the least, we acknowledge and congratulate every single palliative care Nurse working across the country, for all that they do. They are truly our Superheroes!
With warm regards,
The Editorial Team, IAPC
