Last chance to register for the 7th International African Palliative Care Conference, 24th – 26th August, 2022
Register before Wednesday, 24th August, 2022, to grab your last chance to participate in the 7th International African Palliative Care Conference, of the African Palliative Care Association. This conference will be a hybrid conference and is scheduled to be held between Wednesday, 24th August, 2022, and Friday, 26th August 2022, in Kampala, Uganda.
The conference theme is ‘Palliative Care in a Pandemic’. The conference is also being co-hosted by Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance.
Palliative care experts, researchers, health workers, carers, donors, and people living with palliative care needs are invited to register and participate in the conference. It has been shared that Ministers of Health, Dignitaries and other Government technical officials from several countries are expected to attend the conference.

Register before 15th August, 2022, to participate at the 7th Public Health Palliative Care International Congress, 20th – 23rd September, 2022
The congress organisers of the 7th Public Health Palliative Care International Congress have announced their last call to register participation for the congress.
The International Association Public Health Palliative Care International (PHPCI), aims to bring together the state of the art in science and practice of public health and palliative care in their biennial congress themed, ‘Democratizing Caring, Dying and Grieving: Participation, Action, Understanding and Evaluation’.
The conference strives to bring together leading innovators, researchers, practitioners, policy makers, representatives of civic society in the public health palliative care approach all under one roof. The organizers share that there is a significantly growing body of evidence about public health approaches at the end of life and that the conference signals a new era for international research and practice, by creating a critical platform for sharing best-practice examples and evidence from research from around the world and across Europe.
The congress is scheduled to be held between Tuesday, 20th September, 2022 and Friday, 23rd September, 2022, at Bruges, Belgium.

Register for the webinar on ‘Comparative Models in Palliative Care: Perspectives from Africa, Asia, and the Americas’ on 25th August, 2022
The next lecture as part of the Global Palliative Care and Pain Relief Research Hub Webinar Series will be on ‘Comparative Models in Palliative Care: Perspectives from Africa, Asia, and the Americas’ on Thursday, 25th August, 2022, between 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (IST).
These complimentary webinar series are held every alternate month with each session consisting of 2-3 lectures followed by interactive discussions with faculty. CME’s will be offered for each session and a certificate will be available after a post-session evaluation is complete.
The webinar series is intended for multidisciplinary healthcare providers, palliative care specialists, students and trainees, researchers, multi-sector stakeholders and advocates invested in advancing palliative care and relief access.
The Global Palliative Care and Pain Relief Research Hub, is spearheaded by the eminent Dr. Felicia Knaul and consists of multidisciplinary clinicians, scientists, scholars, and advocates from Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and Supportive Care Service; the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System; the University of Miami Institute for Advanced Study of the Americas; and the International Association for Hospice & Palliative Care.

Submit abstracts before 30th September, 2022, for the 4th European Congress on Clinical Trials in Pain in Vienna, Austria, 7th – 8th December 2022
The organisers of the 4th European Congress on Clinical Trials in Pain (SOPATE2022), invites researchers to submit their original abstracts for Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation.
Prof. Ralf Baron and Prof. Elon Eisenberg, Congress Co-Chairs share, “The Congress aims to bring together researchers, clinicians, industry professionals and other related experts to explore ways of bettering ideas and practices in clinical trials on pain and address medical devices and other interventions in the treatment and management of chronic pain.”
