Submit abstracts before 4th January, 2023, for the ACP-i 2023, 24th – 27th May, 2023
Grab the last chance and submit abstracts before Wednesday, 4th January, 2023, to present your work at the 8th International Conference on Advance Care Planning (ACP-i 2023), scheduled to be held in Singapore between Wednesday, 24th May, 2023, and Saturday, 27th May, 2023. This is the first International advance care planning (ACP) conference in Asia, and will be held in a hybrid mode. The conference is spearheaded by the ACP-i Society.
Held once every two years, the ACP-i this year is expected to convene over 800 delegates comprising healthcare and social service administrators, clinical practitioners, researchers, academics and policymakers, to elicit fresh views and critique from international thought leaders and practitioners on the best practices on ACP.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘ACP in Cultural Diversity: More Similar than Different’, aims to highlight the common struggles and shared opportunities in fostering person centred care in serious illness. The conference aims to help delegates understand that what matters to one’s patients is an ethical imperative and a universal endeavour.

Register for a webinar on ‘Children’s Palliative Care in Humanitarian Settings’, 19th January, 2023
The International Children’s Palliative Care Network, the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance, and the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care, jointly present a series of webinars based on the hand book Children’s Palliative Care: An International Case-Based Manual.
The next webinar in the series, ‘Children’s Palliative Care in Humanitarian Settings’ aims to explore issues around providing children’s palliative care in humanitarian settings, and is scheduled to be held between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, 19th January, 2023.

Register before 31st January, 2023, for the ‘South African Palliative Care Conference’, to avail the early bird registration offer
Register before Tuesday, 31st January, 2023, to benefit from the early bird registration for the in-person 2023 South African Palliative Care Conference scheduled to be held between Wednesday, 26th April, 2023, and Saturday 29th April, 2023, at Cape Town.
The conference is organised jointly by South Africa’s three leading palliative care organisations, the Association of Palliative Care Practitioners of South Africa (PALPRAC), the Palliative Care for Children South Africa (PatchSA) and the Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA).
The conference is themed, ‘Palliative Care is Everyone’s Business’ in relation to the lack of preparedness of several healthcare providers to offer appropriate and timely end-of-life care to patients and families. The overriding focus of the workshops, plenary and parallel presentations at the conference will therefore focus on the imperative for palliative care of the future to be inclusive, relevant, and sustainable.
The conference organisers share that the conference will provide delegates with immense opportunities to network, exchange ideas and research and facilitate professional advancement.

Submit abstracts before 28th February, 2023, to participate in the 15th Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Conference 2023, 4th – 7th October, 2023
Submit abstracts before Tuesday, 28th February, 2023, for the 15th Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Conference 2023, scheduled to be held at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea, between Wednesday, 4th October, 2023, and Saturday, 7th October, 2023. The biennial conference is being hosted by the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network and the Korean Society of Hospice and Palliative Care.
The in-person conference will be in English. The theme for the upcoming conference is ‘Expanding Horizons of Palliative Care in the New Era’ to reflect the readiness to share knowledges, expertise, tips, pandemic experiences, and delaying sympathy of loss in each and every session, post a long covid break which deterred organising in-person conferences.
The Scientific Committee aims to bring together an interesting plenary session, and exciting symposium and workshop sessions which aim to showcase the increasing reach of palliative care, in both the Asia Pacific region as well globally.
