GERIPALCON 2026 – 2nd National Conference on Geriatrics, Oncology & Palliative Care

GERIPALCON 2026 is a national academic conference organised by the RMD Group of Hospitals and Care in association with RARE Life Care and Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) as the academic partner. The conference will bring together doctors, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and caregivers to share evidence, innovations, and best practices across geriatrics, oncology, and palliative care. The program emphasises interdisciplinary collaboration to strengthen holistic care for older adults and people with serious illness. CME credit points will be awarded by the Tamil Nadu Medical Council.

IPM PALMEDCON 2026 – Palliative Care Beyond Guidelines

Date: 7th to 8th February 2026

Place: IMBAM Hall, Institute of Palliative Medicine, Kozhikode

IPM PALMEDCON 2026 is a focused academic conference for doctors, organised by the Institute of Palliative Medicine in association with IAPC Kerala. The conference aims to move beyond guidelines to explore practical, compassionate, and context-responsive palliative care through clinically relevant discussions and interactive learning. Key sessions will address communication skills, end-of-life care (including paediatrics), grief and bereavement, opioid safety, community partnerships, and palliative care within Kerala’s formal health system. Optional workshops on communication skills and Death Café conversations are also offered.

Palliative Care: Rethinking Coping, Exploring Hope, in the Midst of Conflict and Change
