The organisers feel that irrespective of any particular model, there are principles which are universal to guide innovations in high and low-income settings.
The webinar will therefore be presented by select speakers from different regions who will share details of a successful model and summarise what primary palliative care means in their region. Post the webinar, the organisers hope to advance the identification of approaches or typologies that are successful globally and proceed to conducting a Delphi study to gain an international consensus about how primary care services might best integrate palliative care while also updating the meaning of the phrase ‘primary palliative care’.
