The Theme of this year’s conference: ‘Searching Empathy through Research’
The palliative care community in India is meeting today, for the 28th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care. IAPCON 2021 Is a virtual event from 19th to 21st March 2021. During our previous conference, Last year, held at the State Cancer Institute and Medical College, Guwahati, travel restrictions, social distancing, and the impending pandemic, COVID-19 were not familiar to us. Within a blink of an eye, everything turned upside down!

To overcome the barriers imposed by the pandemic, it was essential to find an alternative. I hope that the virtual conference will be a unique experience for the delegates. On behalf of IAPC, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Umesh Badani (Secretary, Organizing Committee, IAPCON 2021), and team for organizing this virtual conference”, said Dr. Sushma Bhatnagar, President, IAPC.
