End of Life Care Policy for the Dying: Consensus Position Statement of IAPC

Indian Association of Palliative care (IAPC) takes the position that access to palliative and end of life care (EOLC) is a human right. Therefore everyone with a life limiting illness has a right to a life free from pain, symptoms and distress; psychosocial and spiritual, and has the right to a dignifi ed life that includes the process of death.
