The Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) works to strengthen and promote palliative care across India through a growing network of State Chapters. These chapters bring together healthcare professionals, volunteers, organisations and other stakeholders at the state level to advance palliative care through education, advocacy, awareness, service development and collaboration.
IAPC State Chapters play an important role in responding to the palliative care needs of their respective regions. They work closely with governments and other stakeholders to advocate for and support the development of policies and programmes that are responsive to the needs of the local population. They also provide a platform for professionals and organisations to connect, share knowledge and experiences, and work together to strengthen and expand palliative care services.
