Register for the Cardio Oncology Lecture series from the Global Cancer Consortium

The Global Cancer Consortium comprising 5 institutions (the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Tata Memorial Centre, Saroj Gupta Cancer Institute Kolkata, Mayo Clinic and Markey Cancer Centre) presents the Supportive Care in Oncology Lecture Series this year. The organizers opine that Supportive Care is an integral aspect of palliative medicine which would facilitate in broadening the horizons of palliative care, especially for students of MD and DNB Palliative Medicine.

Registrations are free, and are currently open for the sessions scheduled to be held at 7:30 p.m. (IST) on Thursday, 13th January, 2022, and Thursday 10th March, 2022.

Register for the 16 hour in-person Volunteer Training Program at Karunashraya, Bengaluru

Bangalore Hospice Trust – Karunashraya, is offering a 2 day (16 hours) in-person workshop for those interested to offer professional volunteer care and support in palliative care. The certificate course will be conducted at Karunashraya in collaboration with the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC).

The workshop is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 5th February, 2022, and Sunday, 6th February, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Register for the Marie Curie research conference 2022

The Marie Curie research conference ‘Improving end of life for all’ will be held virtually between Sunday, 30th January, 2022 and Friday, 4th February, 2022.

The conference aims to deliver a series of interesting presentations, posters, talks in addition to showcasing a few of Marie Curie’s most recently funded research, along with other global research which focus towards improving the experiences of dying, death and bereavement.

The presentations are scheduled to be held virtually between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (IST) (Except for the session at 10:30 p.m. IST on Sunday, 30th January, 2022).
