Registrations invited for the ‘Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Conference 2023’, Incheon, Korea, 4th– 7th October, 2023
Register to participate in the ‘15th Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Conference 2023’ scheduled to be held between Wednesday, 4th October, 2023, and Saturday, 7th October, 2023, at the Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Republic of Korea.
The in-person conference will be conducted in English. The conference is themed ‘Expanding Horizons of Palliative Care in the New Era’ to reflect the readiness to share knowledges, expertise, tips, pandemic experiences, and delaying sympathy of loss in each and every session, post a long covid break which deterred organising in-person conferences.
The conference is therefore designed to include interesting plenary sessions, an exciting symposium and workshop sessions, all of which aim to showcase the increasing reach of palliative care, in both the Asia Pacific region as well as globally.

Registrations are invited for the European Association of Palliative Care’s (EAPC) webinar on ‘Public health palliative care: Evidence-Base’ on Wednesday, 6th September, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. (IST).
The free webinar is presented by the EAPC’s Public Health Palliative Care Reference Group.
The webinar will be chaired by Dr Agnes van der Heide (Netherlands) and will be presented by Mr Steven Vanderstichelen (Belgium), who will discuss the ‘Complexities and Challenges in a Public Health Palliative Care Research’ and Dr Joseph Sawyer (United Kingdom) who will shed light upon ‘The Evidence for the Effectiveness of a Public Health Palliative Care Approach’.

Nurses are encouraged to register for the ‘International Conference on Cancer Nursing 2023’, scheduled to be held at Glasgow, United Kingdom, between Friday 29th September, 2023, and Monday, 2nd October, 2023.
Clinical nurses, nursing leaders, educators, and students of nursing are encouraged to participate in the in-person conference themed ‘Building Global Nursing Excellence for Tomorrow’s Cancer Realities.’

The Memorial Sloan Kettering is hosting a free virtual conference ‘4th Annual US Celebration of World Hospice & Palliative Care Day’, in commemoration of this year’s World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on Tuesday, 3rd October, 2023, and Wednesday, 4th October, 2023.
National and international health care workers such as physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, chaplains, psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacists, and patient advocates regardless of specialty palliative care or oncology experience are encouraged to register for the conference.
The organisers share that the innovative two-day virtual Conference will strive to foster cross-cultural community building and both scientific and experiential wisdom sharing by presenting on diverse topics, including serious illness communication, palliative care needs of patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, and care for historically minoritized and marginalized populations.
The conference will feature more than 40 faculty members and will also feature a keynote presentation by Dr M R Rajagopal (Founder, Chairman, Pallium India).

Submit abstracts before 15th October, 2023, to participate in the 13th World Research Congress of the EAPC in Barcelona, Spain, 16th – 18th May, 2024
The conference organisers of the 13th World Research Congress of the European Association of Palliative Care (EAPC) are inviting abstracts for their upcoming conference in Barcelona, Spain, which is scheduled between Thursday, 16th May, 2024, and Saturday, 18th May, 2024.
The conference organisers share, “Congress this year will provide excellent opportunities for palliative care experts to interact in person, to present and discuss latest advancements from research, research methods, and ways to improve care, treatment, and therapies for patients and those important to them.”
They go on to share that the abstract deadline is kept early intentionally as a considerable part of the conference program will be built on the basis of the abstracts submitted.
