- And a valid registration with the Medical Council of India to practice in the country
Experience Required:
- Clinical: > 5 years full time clinical experience exclusively in Palliative Medicine
- Academics: Evidence of continuing medical education in the field.
- Research: > 5 peer-reviewed publications in reputed National / International Journals

Job Description:
Clinical:
- Evidence-based and efficient management of all patients registered with the Department of Pain and Palliative Medicine.
- Engagement with care across all settings: Outpatient, In-patient, Homebased care, and link centres
Academics - Active engagement with post graduate training program
- Active participation with under-graduate training program of medical and nursing students
- In-house training of professionals and students of the institution
- Contribute to the academic activities and conferences organised by the department
Research - Conduct, and guide research that contributes to the progress of the field of palliative care
Administration:
- Lead and contribute to the smooth running of the department
- Expand the scope and reach of its services
- Maintain cordial relationship with other specialties and with the administration of the institution.
