In order to create awareness about palliative care, IAPC (indian Association of Palliative Care) had supported an organisation in Guwahati in the north-eastern India, to conduct a conference headed by Dr. Sanghamitra Bora and her team.

An amount of Rs.50,000/- was officially granted for this awareness programme and it was spent efficiently. Dr. Bora could save Rs.13,650/- from the alloted money and deposited it in the IAPC’s bank account.
