Stella Cancer Center Hospice

It is about 3 kms away from Cardinal Gracias hospital.

This is a hospice for cancer patients managed by sisters of St. Ann . Its a free of cost and 20 bedded center with trained medical palliative nurses and I Dr,Swetlana( palliative physician) and Dr. Joseph Sequeira (Oncologist) visit this center. They take excellent care for patients. Oral as well RT feeds, I/m or i/v medications and i/v fluids or blood tests and even Oxygen if required are started in hospice itself.

Only for blood transfusion, tapping of ascitis and pleural fluid pateints are shifted to CGM hospital. We encourage relative or care taker to be with the patient so that he should not feel lonely. We also accept non – cancer patients sometimes.
