Job Description: The Physician will serve as a key member of the clinical team within the interdisciplinary paediatric palliative care team, providing expert medical care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across in-patient, OPD, and home-care settings. The role demands advanced clinical competence in pediatric palliative medicine, the ability to lead complex symptom management, strong skills in prognostic communication, and a deep commitment to dignified, family-centred care throughout the illness trajectory — including at end of life.
Additional Information: Additional desirable qualification
- MD/DNB Palliative Medicine OR MD/DNB Pediatrics, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Community Medicine (with training/experience in Palliative Medicine).
- Fellowship or certification in Palliative Medicine (e.g., FIPM, FIPP, or equivalent recognized training).
- Clinical experience in pediatric palliative care, pediatric oncology, PICU/NICU, or community-based care.
- Fluency in Kannada.
- Experience in medical education, clinical research, or program development.
