- DNB Palliative Medicine

- Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from a recognised institution
- MD General Medicine with demonstrable training and experience in Palliative Medicine
- MD Family Medicine with palliative care experience
- MBBS with recognised long-term training in Palliative Care and relevant clinical experience

Job Description: The Palliative Care Physician will provide comprehensive palliative care services to patients admitted to Sparsh Hospice and those receiving home-based or outpatient palliative care services. The physician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to address physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of patient care.
Additional Information: Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
- Formulate and implement individualized palliative care plans.
- Manage pain and other distressing symptoms using evidence-based palliative care principles.
- Conduct patient and family counselling regarding disease progression, goals of care, and end-of-life planning.
- Participate in inpatient, outpatient, and home care services as required.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of clinical assessments and treatment plans.
