Dr Kesavaraj
Dr Kesavaraj completed his under graduation from Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. He then worked at the same hospital as a Medical Officer for 6 months.
Dr Kesavaraj is also a good at chess and excels at badminton and cricket.
When asked on why he chose to do his MD in Palliative Medicine, he shared “Treating people whose struggles are almost unheard off, brings happiness to me. My goal is to therefore provide palliative care to as many people as I can”.
Dr Surendra Kumar Pingoliya
Dr Surendra Kumar Pingoliya completed his Under graduation from Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. Post his graduation, he joined the government service and went on to work as a Medical Officer at the District Hospital Kekri for 3 years.
Dr Pingoliya has also completed a 6 months certificate course in ultrasonography (PCPNDT).
His motivation to pursue an MD in PM, “I like serving people. During my 3 years of government service, I saw many cancer patients who didn’t get adequate palliative care and began thinking how I could help these people. That is how I chose palliative medicine”.
Dr Kesavaraj and Dr Surendra are both hardworking and sincere, with a strong desire to learn.
