Vidhi Center for Legal Policy and The End of Life Care in India Task Force (ELICIT) continue their efforts to improve the end of life care in India as they develop the model legal framework 2.0. This framework builds upon their existing efforts to further patients’ rights and ethical best practices, while also being fully aware of the ground realities and other constraints of the real-life critical care settings in India. 

India’s recent surge of COVID-19 has once again highlighted the critical need for such legal frameworks as several people are being forced to encounter delicate end of life care related decisions.
