We are born one day we die one day. We lose our beloved one, may be a spouse, may be a sibling, may be parents, may be our child, may be our pet, may be our own dignity and so on. We grieve because we are attached to and love the person we miss forever. We pass through the journey of bereavement. Anxiety, depression, sorrow, suicidal thought, prick the heart leading to the health disaster. We are all different with different experiences. So sharing possess the power of healing. The bereaved person is relieved of pain of heavy stone pressing the heart when he/she shares pain, suffering and experience to another person.

Grief is everlasting but we should be positive in channeling our energies into Healthy Grieving with the smile on our face symbolising LOVE for self and Empathy for others in the same voyage. Palliative care doesn’t stop with the demise of the person, the Care continues to take care of the persons in bereavement.

I myself have been passing through bereavement which instigates me to organise such a program. I feel myself proud of receiving support from the members of the group PEARL of whom 4/5 families of SHANTIKUTIR Apartment have stood by me and led to a grand success of the program. Thanks Sohom Chakraborty for smooth technical handling. I apologise for any inconvenience faced by anybody present online.

We are blessed with the active participation of #KenRoss, ElisabethKüblerRoss Foundation , #JoanMarstonofPallChase. We are unfortunate as #WilkaR
