IAPC and Alpha Palliative Care Organise International Conference on Palliative Care, 9-11 October 2026

The Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC), in partnership with Alpha Palliative Care, is set to organise an International Conference on Palliative Care from 9 to 11 October 2026 at the Alpha Hospice premises in Edamuttam, Thrissur, Kerala, as part of the commemoration of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD).

Reflecting this year’s WHPCD theme, “Pain Management: An Essential Part of Palliative Care,” the three-day conference will bring together clinicians, policymakers, students, volunteers, and palliative care professionals from India and abroad. The programme will provide a platform for learning, sharing experiences, and exploring approaches to strengthening pain management and palliative care.

The conference will begin with a hospice tour and walkathon, followed by three days of scientific sessions covering diverse aspects of palliative care.

Through its combination of scientific learning and experiential engagement, the conference aims to foster meaningful exchange and collaboration among professionals, policy makers,  and volunteers committed to advancing palliative care.
