IAPC’s Election Notification

Notice is hereby given to all members of the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC), that elections (if any) will be held on Saturday, 1^st February, 2025, during IAPCON 2025, for the below mentioned posts:

• Secretary, IAPC (2026 – 2029) (Secretary Elect from 2025 – 2026; Secretary from 2026 – 2029)
• Central Council Members (2025 – 2027)
  • West Zone (1 member)

The eligibility criteria for those interested to contest in the elections, as below:

Secretary	Central Council (CC) Members
The applicant must have an uninterrupted IAPC membership for a minimum of 5 years on the date of being nominated.	The applicant must have an uninterrupted IAPC membership for a minimum of 3 years on the date of being nominated. Members applying to the post of a CC Member from a particular Zone, must belong to that particular Zone as defined by the IAPC’s constitution. West Zone (Daman and Diu and Nagar and Haveli, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan)

Important dates for the upcoming IAPC Elections:

• Last date to submit online nomination: Tuesday, 10^th December, 2024
• Last date to withdraw nomination: Friday, 10^th January, 2025
• Election date (if needed): Saturday, 1^st February, 2025

 The scanned copy of the signed and completed nomination form is to be emailed to the Secretary, IAPC, at iapcelections@gmail.com before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 10^th December, 2024. Nominations submitted to any other email address will not be accepted.
