A Certificate course for community volunteers in Palliative Care was conducted on 6th and 7th July 2019 at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan & Research Centre,Patna, under IAPC. This curriculum was inaugrated by Dr. Sushma Bhatnagar, President, IAPC.

This course was coordinated by Dr. Rita Rani, Palliative care Incharge at MCSRC. Thirty candidates from different walks of life participated for community volunteers training programme. A pre-test was taken before the start of the curriculum.

They were imparted knowledge about Cancer and Palliative care through class room teaching, interactive sessions and several small skits presented by nurses trained in palliative care.They all received the certificates with a promise of spreading awareness about palliative care in their society.
