Dr Arun Deka talked about how modern Palliative Care was introduced to the world and to India and its importance for the care of the needy people.
Dr Dipankar Dakua talked about how a patient is cared in all the 4 aspects of Pain (physical, psychological, social and spiritual) and that the patient and the family members are are considered as one unit and cared for both of them in a wholistic manner.
The program was broadcast for about an hour in the local channel in Assam.
