Cairdeas International Palliative Care Trust and the Palliative Care Department of Emmanuel Hospital Association is organising a three-day workshop on research in palliative care, in New Delhi, from November 25 to 27, 2014. This workshop will introduce the concepts and skills of research in palliative care and support development of research priorities and initial proposals. Resource persons include Dr Mhoira Leng, Palliative Care Physician, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda; Dr Chitra Venkateswaran, Professor, Psychiatrist and Palliative Care Physician at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi; Dr Dan Munday, Palliative Care Physician working in Nepal; and Dr Gurs Purewal, Palliative Care Specialist trainee working in Kampala.
