Ms Chiinngaihlun, Ms Jubilee Darrimawi Joute, Ms Karthika Paneer, Ms Laxmi Devi, Ms Ngamshakning Roel and Ms Sharon Varte, are the ‘Nursing Superwomen’ working at the Pediatric Palliative Care Centre (Subhita) of CanKids…KidsCan.

These nurses should be celebrated for their contribution in making their patients’ lives healthier and happier. These ‘Superwomen’ are the very first members of Subhita’s healthcare team to interact with and comfort patients.

Apart from monitoring their patients and giving them medications, these nurses play several roles while on duty. These ‘Superwoman’ most often love their patients as a parent, sometimes scold them as a teacher, and always understand them as a friend would.

This team not only provides support to the children and their caregivers, but are also the greatest support system for the doctors’ at the center.

The CanKids…KidsCan team would like to commend these ‘Superwoman’ for the empathy and compassion with which they treat their patients.
