This manual has been prepared under the leadership and guidance of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Community Participation in Palliative Care and Long-Term Care.
This book has mainly been authored by Mr. Terrymize Immanuel, Nurse Faculty and Research Associate of Institute of Palliative Medicine under the guidance of Dr. Suresh Kumar, Director, WHOCC, and with the inputs of doctors and nurses working at IPM.
