The Theosophical Society, Cuttack, is all set to receive volunteers in palliative care.The purpose to organise the 16 hour Volunteer Certificate Course of IAPC from 14th to 15th March 2020, ably supported by Dr. Abhijith Dam, Secretary, IAPC and Dr. Sumita Mohanty, Head, palliative Care Unit, Acharya Harihara Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC).

This course is being organised appreciating an urgent need to train volunteers,family members as well as medically trained personnels who may be engaged in assisting patients suffering from end stage diseases.

The Theosophical society is an international organisation having over 1000 centers in about 70 countries. It is engaged in spreading the message of Universal Brotherhood, Divine wisdom, inter-religious harmony and in rendering compassionate humanitarian service to the needy.

The Cuttack branch is 105 years old.
