IAPCON 2022, Jaipur

The 29^th International Conference of Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2022), will be a virtual conference from Jaipur. Eminent and the brightest stars from the Palliative Care fraternity, both from India and beyond will be participating in the conference, scheduled to be held between Friday the 11^th to Sunday the 13^th February 2022. Pre-conference workshops will be organized on 10^th February, 2022.

The organizing team of IAPCON 2022, led by Dr. Anjum Joad Khan, organising secretary, IAPCON 2022, is working hard towards making sure that every delegate is enriched and can go back to deliver better patient care.

The organisers invite you to an exciting array of pre conference workshops which include ‘How psychologists can bring their expertise to palliative care?’, ‘Safe use of Methadone’, ‘The nuances of social work in palliative care’, ‘Ethics in Clinical practice and Research in Palliative care’, ‘Sessions by the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium’, ‘USG in Palliative care’, etc.

The organising committee is also delighted to share that the conference will offer a blend of both scientific and educational sessions, to cater to the needs of all audiences. Scientific Sessions will include sessions on Covid-19 and Palliative Care, Interstitial lung disease, implementing evidence- based practice and a good death. Educational sessions will cover sessions on difficult pain, sensitive conversations (such as communicating with children, talking about sexual issues etc.), teaching methodology and sustaining the palliative care workforce.

Please note that the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) has also announced a few scholarships for IAPC members to register for the IAPCON 2022, Jaipur. Candidates currently working in palliative care, are a Member of IAPC and a Member of IAHPC are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
