A workshop for training volunteers primarily, as a part of the pilot project initiated by IAPC was conducted at Siliguri in North Bengal. This was arranged by Dr. Sourav Guha from Medica Oncology Center and conducted by Dr. Abhijit Dam, Secretary, IAPC, and Dr. Priya Khanna, a psychiatrist from UK. The programme had around 87 participants.
