The nurses at Pallium India as referred to as ‘Pallium Angels’.

Most of Pallium India’s activities are primarily done by these Pallium Angels, who work alongside the multidisciplinary team at the center comprising of doctors, nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, pharmacist, palliative care assistants and volunteers to deliver OP, IP and Home Care services.

Despite several nurses coming from non-palliative care backgrounds, they have been quick to absorb the essence of palliative care, and the work culture of the organization. These trained palliative care nurses demonstrate compassion, empathy and humaneness in everything they do, and are hence rightly known as ‘Pallium Angels’, represented by Ms Ammini, Ms Anu, Ms Asha, Ms Ayana, Ms Bessy, Ms Chandralekha, Ms Dinu, Ms Divya, Ms Geetha, Ms Jayakumari, Ms Jinny, Ms Kavitha, Ms Keerthi, Ms Lekshmi, Ms Mini, Ms Nazeeba, Ms Remya, Ms Reshma, Ms Roshni, Mr Sajan, Ms Seena, Ms Sheeba, Ms Sheena, Ms Sherin, Ms Sreedevi, Ms Sweet and Ms Vidhya (in alphabetical order).

Pallium India, a Non-Governmental Organization, founded in 2003, is committed to reaching the patient where they are and when they need it, in line with the principles of Universal Health Coverage to alleviate health-related suffering.
