Message from the Secretary
Palliative Care is not only about caring for the patient. It is perhaps the only branch in medicine which treats the patient and the family as one unit. Keeping the caregivers in mind, the IAPC is starting a section on the website which will be dedicated to the caregivers- the wives, children, parents, siblings, cousins, friends and neighbours; whose lives are always impacted when a loved one falls ill. The aim is to provide links to useful resources for information and also to guide the caregiver to those who can provide help and support in different ways.
We request you to give your valuable inputs and suggestions to improve not only this section but also the website as a whole.
Dr. Savita Butola
Indian Association of Palliative Care.
Note:- Suggestions and inputs are to be addressed to National Information Officer, IAPC at firstname.lastname@example.org
